Takisha
Bendy first started acting in High
School on a man -made stage in her
classroom
and she has now stretched from the
baby stage to the big stage.
Takisha
is a 32-year old native Houstonian,
the youngest sibling out of 4 brothers
and
1 sister. Her proud parents are Claudie
and Rosalyn Bendy. She is a Member
of
New Oasis of Faith Church where Bishop
Thomas E. Wallace is the Pastor and
Pastor Edith Wallace is the Co-Pastor.
She is also the member of Delta Sigma
Theta Sorority Incorporated - Houston
Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter. Takisha
graduated
Cum Laude from Texas Southern University
with
a Bachelors of Fine
Arts
in Theatre where she starred in numerous
plays as Lead
and Supporting
Actor.
After moving from the College atmosphere,
she then branched
into
professional theatre where she became
a Hall of Fame member of the
Encore
Theatre
where Harold J. Haynes is the Owner/Artistic
Director. Takisha
has shown her dedication through acting,
stage managing, directing and more.
Some of her directing accomplishments
were "Remember Calvary",
"Go Get Your
Life
Back", "Everybody Has Their
15 Minutes of Fame", and "The
Last Few Minutes"
- assistant director.
Takisha has
been in numerous plays Tyler Perry's
"Medea's Family Reunion",

Takisha is
a Minister in Training striving to
walk Holy and stay in the perfect
will of
God.
